March 8, 2024—District 16-6A girls’ basketball coaches recently released the 2023-2024 All-District 16-6A Girls’ Basketball Team, following the conclusion of each team’s season in the UIL playoffs.

Cypress Lakes High School senior Aniah Alexis was named the district’s Most Valuable Player for the 2023-2024 season after being named Offensive Player of the Year last season.

Cypress Springs High School freshman Jemini Mitchell was named Newcomer of the Year.

Cypress Falls Head Coach Larissa Leal was voted Coach of the Year.
